Head Men's Soccer Coach and Technical Director Andy Lee

Andy Lee is entering his third year as head coach of the Viterbo University men’s soccer team and brings a wealth and variety of experience to the School of Excellence.

Lee joined the V-Hawk program after spending one season as an assistant with the V-Hawk women’s team. During this time Lee coached the women’s program to a runner-up finish at the National Collegiate Indoor Soccer Championships. Lee is also very involved in local club soccer coaching competitive boy’s and girl’s teams for the La Crescent Youth Soccer Association. As a coach in the UK, Lee worked with the nationally renowned Northumberland Football Partnership, coaching some of the best young players in the north east of England. Lee holds coaching qualifications from the both the English Football Association and the European soccer governing body UEFA. As a player Lee was a youth team player in the English Third Division, as well as representing his county of Northumberland on their way to a national youth cup title in 1998. Lee was also a college player for the University of Wisconsin-Milwauke and Cardinal Stritch University from 1999-2003.

Assistant Men's Soccer Coach and Technical Director Kevin Brennan

Kevin Brennan is the co-founder of the Viterbo School of Excellence after joining the Viterbo University coaching staff in 2007 as the assistant men’s soccer coach. Prior to joining Viterbo Brennan completed 4 very successful seasons for Cardinal Stritch University of the NAIA, culminating in being ranked in the national top 25 all season in 2006. A native of Bristol,

England

, Kevin represented Somerset County and the South West of England. While in the United States Kevin played club soccer for former A-League team the Milwaukee Rampage, and has been coaching Cedarburg Strikers Soccer Club for the past 4 years. He holds an English FA Coaching Certificate, as well as a NSCAA D License.

Dafydd Jones – Head Goalkeeper Coach
A decorated Goalkeeper in his own right, Jones played for Cardiff City as a youth in his native Wales, and followed that up with a two year spell playing for Barry Town of the Welsh Premier League. Jones recently finished his college playing career as a member of Cardinal Stritch University’s nationally ranked men’s soccer program. In 2006 he was named All-Conference 1st Team, All-Region 1st Team, as well as All-American.

Ryan Raufus
Ryan Raufus joins the coaching staff as one of the more successful high school coaches in the area. He is currently Head Girl’s Soccer Coach at La Crescent high school and La Crosse Logan high school. His career record with the La Crescent Lancers is 53-7-3 (3 years), with two state tournament appearances. Last season they put together the schools first ever 20 win season. During the 2006/07 school year Raufus was named Section 1A Coach of the Year in Minnesota, and Mississippi Valley Conference Coach of the Year in Wisconsin.
